YELLOW TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner showing balanced hue uninfluenced by the degree of gloss and having excellent transparency. SOLUTION: This toner contains at least a yellow coloring agent expressed by the formula and has the following properties measured by using a flow type particle image analyzer. (a) The average circularity of the toner particles ranges from 0.950 to 0.995. (b) The standard deviation of the circularity ranges from 0.015 to 0.050. (c) The weight mean diameter of the toner particles ranges from 3μm to 9μm. (d) The standard deviation of the weight mean particle size ranges 1.5 to 3.0.
