ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER, ITS PRODUCTION, ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing color toner which permits formation of color images having excellent release performance and both of gloss and transparency, and to provide a method for producing the toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing color toner contains a binder resin, coloring agent and release agent. The release agent is a compd. having <=1000 mol.wt. and one or more urethane bonds, and its content in the toner is 0.1 to 10 wt.%. In the production of the toner, a resin dispersion liquid having at least resin fine particles is prepared. The resin fine particles are then flocculated to produce flocculated particles and fused by heating. A compd. having <=1000 mol.wt. and one or more urethane bonds is added into the resin dispersion to obtain toner particles in which the content of the compd. is 0.1 to 10 wt.%.
