<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material which consists of a base layer and a surface layer and which is recyclable and useful since a printing material such as a toner can be removed, by forming the surface layer from a water- swellable resin and incorporating a surfactant into the layer. SOLUTION: The surface layer 3 is formed on a base layer 1, and the surface of the surface layer 3 is printed with a printing material 4. As for the base layer 1, a transparent plastic film having waterproof property (strength), or an opaque plastic film prepared by adding inorg. fine particles is preferably used. The surface layer 3 formed on the base layer 1 consists of a water- swellable resin and a surfactant. By incorporating the surfactant into the surface layer 3, the water absorption rate of the surface layer 3 is increased, and thereby, the swelling rate of the surface layer 3 is increased, and removing property of the printing material 4 for repeated processes can be improved. The surfactant used is a nonionic surfactant having 9 to 15 HLB.</p> |
