PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone number information recording method for reducing labor and errors in the case of depending on manual work by automatically recording the registration or change of telephone number information to a terminal. SOLUTION: Concerning this telephone number information recording method, when a terminal 10 transmits telephone number information to an exchange 14, the exchange updates the telephone number information while using rules or data base and transmits the telephone number information to the terminal, and the terminal automatically records the telephone number information. Besides, the terminal acquires and records telephone number information out of grouped telephone number information from the exchange.
