PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print out an image so that a position of an image on an original is coincident with a position of an image on paper in the case that a printer prints out the image transferred from a host on the paper in a way that a non-image area is formed to upper/lower/left/right ends of the paper. SOLUTION: When the user instructs a read driver software 1a of a host computer 1 on a read start position of an original corresponding to an offset of non-image area at an upper and left ends of the paper for a printer, the read driver software 1a instructs an image reader 2 on the read start range and start of reading. The image reader 2 reads the original with an offset for the non-image are at the upper and left ends of the printer paper.
