PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the time of an electronic watch at a time when the electronic watch finishes a communication with an information apparatus. SOLUTION: An information apparatus 31 which comprises a communication function is connected in a state that it can communicate interactively with an electronic watch 1 comprising a communication function, via a communication cable 30 and a communication interface 15. When a communication is started, the electronic watch 1 transmits the present time to the information apparatus 31. The information apparatus 31 holds the received time in a random- access memory or a disk device, it starts the exchange of data with the electronic watch 1, and it starts a timer which is used to measure the time required for communicating with the electronic watch 1. The information apparatus 31 which finishes the exchange of the data adds the held time of the electronic watch 1 to the value of the timer which measures the time required for the communication, and it transmits an added value to the electronic watch 1. The electronic watch 1 which receives the added value replaces the value of time data with received new time data. |
