PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the occurrence of any out-of-mesh to the thrust directional stress receiving to a work wheel from a worm without using a separate member, and to facilitate its assembleability as well. SOLUTION: A ring rib 16 integrally formed in a worm wheel 10, in relation to the thrust stress receiving to this worm wheel 10 attendant upon the reversible rotation of a worm and displacement due to the tooth floating stress of engagement, is engaged with a projection 15 formed in a bearing case 13 of this worm, whereby any possible out-of-mesh in the work wheel 10 is made so as to be prevented from occurring.
