PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute various processing by effectively utilizing the function of each device for the image data of an original read by a digital copying machine. SOLUTION: In this network system 1, the dead capacity of an image memory 31 of each of plural printers 3 included in this network is previously detected, and the image data of an original read by an image reading part 22 as the object of image formation in an image forming part 23 of a digital copying machine 2 are transmitted through an interface part 26 to the printer 3 having the image memory 31 with a sufficient dead capacity after a user ID is applied to the image data. Even when the digital copying machine 2 is not provided with any image memory, the image data being the object of the image formation are recorded in the network, and the image reading processing at the time of following processing can be omitted.
