PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a refrigeration performance and also to prevent lowering of the efficiency of a compressor, by reducing a pressure fall in a high pressure passage or a pressure rise in a low pressure passage in a pressure vibration device used for a cool storage type refrigerating machine. SOLUTION: A high-pressure-side buffer tank 38 is made to communicate with the middle of a high pressure passage 32 and a low-pressure-side buffer tank 39 with the middle of a low pressure passage 33. According to this constitution, it is possible to increase the total discharge flow rate and the total intake flow rate of working gas, to prevent a pressure fall in the high pressure passage 32 and a pressure rise in the low pressure passage 33 and, consequently, to improve a refrigeration performance. Since pressures in the high pressure passage 32 and the low pressure passage 33 become stable and pulsation of the working gas in the high pressure passage 32 or the low pressure passage 33 can be prevented or reduced, besides, lowering of the efficiency of a compressor due to the pulsation can be prevented.
