PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens capable of improving focusing accuracy for a moving subject. SOLUTION: A focusing state is detected by a focus detecting part 5 based on the passing luminous flux of a photographing lens system at which focusing is made possible in the interchangeable lens 4. Also, two-way communications including the transmission of exposure start timing information and the transmission of information showing that the focus detecting part 5 is in the middle of operation is executed with a camera body 1 attached by communications. The focusing of the photographing system is executed in response to the output of the focus detecting part 5 and that from an exposure start timing generating part 2. |
