PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to readily generate a picture postcard with high image quality at a visit place and to mail it without trouble by entering a prescribed image, recipient.sender data or the like to a multimedia terminal, transmitting the data to an output center, allowing the output center to receive the data and to output the image, the address and the name of the recipient and the sender onto the postcard. SOLUTION: The user in a multimedia terminal 1 receives a photographed image 101, selects a scene 102 and enters it by using a keyboard. Furthermore, the user enters a message 103 and a date 104. Since the system displays a synthesized result of the entered data above for a picture postcard, the user can confirm the result, and the user enters an address and a name of a recipient.sender or the like. The multimedia terminal 1 transmits the data to an output center. The output center prints out picture postcards of a required number based on the received data. Then the output center applies processing of confirmation of the postal code and the address and the name of the recipient.sender or the like and mails the postcards.
