PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily observe a line sate in a communication controller. SOLUTION: A communication controller is provided with a communication control part 20 controlling various communications and transmitting a communication interface signal 21, a line connector 30 terminating a signal line from the part 20, two line state observation ports 400 and 500 functioning as connectors for connection to one end of each monitoring device for observing the state of the communication interface signal and a channel switch 200 and a selector 300, which correspond to the two line state observation ports 400 and 500 for switching the communication interface signal 21 to the side of the line connector 30 or the side of a line state observation ports 400 and 500 by a selection signal emitted from a switch circuit 600.
