PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk playing device in which a disk is hardly erroneously dropped into a device when the device is closed leaving a disk on a tray in a deviation state. SOLUTION: A disk drop preventing means 190 is provided at a position being at the front plane of a device main body 20 and upper from a disk mounting plane of a tray 23. The disk drop preventing means 190 is constituted so that disks 1, 2 placed in a deviation state on the tray 23 are caught and elevated at the time of closing of the tray 23. Even if the tray 23 is closed leaving erroneously disks 1, 2 on the tray in a deviation state, as the disks 1, 2 are pushed up from an opening part 10a by the disk drop preventing means 190, it can be surely prevented that the disks 1, 2 enter into the device, and it can be surely prevented that the disks 1, 2 drop into the device body 20.
