PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece for learning which enables a learner to easily recognize the time that elapses and more particularly the hour. SOLUTION: This timepiece for learning is constituted by forming a hour hand and minute hand respectively mounted at a shaft of inner and outer double structure penetrating the center of a timepiece dial in such a manner that both are rotated by the rotating manipulation of a manipulation dial 11 while having a prescribed relation. The hour hand and minute hand are respectively so formed that the numerals of the hour and minute indicated by the respective hands among the numerals of the hour and minute respectively displayed at an hour display intermittent gear 29 and a minute display disk 28 appear at the display window of the timepiece main body respectively cooperatively with the movements of the hour hand and the minute hand. The timepiece is provided with a positioning member 31 for elastically pressing the branch teeth 30 of the hour display intermittent gear intermeshed with one pawl 27 disposed at the minute display disk from the outside thereof.
