<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance mechanical strength to prevent contact performance from degrading, by holding a first conductor member against a shield layer of a shield wire and interconnecting the both by welding. SOLUTION: A shield layer 4 constituting a shield wire 1 together with a conductor 2, a dielectric 3, and a coating 5 is, after exposing, welding-connected with a first conductor member 17 such as a connector terminal or other wire, and has a mechanical strength higher than that in crimp connection or pressure connection. The first conductor member 17 formed in a cylindrical shape or a tongue shape is inserted from the end between the shield layer 4 and the dielectric 3 after removal of the coating 5 and made to abut and is preferably welded with the shield layer 4. A welding head is circular, simultaneous welding of the entire circumference is useful, and therefore, mechanical strength becomes higher. When a second conductor member is held against the conductor 2 and is welded, the welding is preferably simultaneously performed with the welding of the first conductor member 17 and the shield layer 4, and thus, operability is improved. Resistance welding, ultrasonic welding, or laser welding without using any welding head is suitable.</p> |
