<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPEG-TS transmitter in which a value of a PID/ continuity counter of a TS packet belonging to a multiplexed transport stream is rewritten at a high-speed, resulting in transmitting the multiplexed stream at a higher speed when transmitting the multiplexed transport stream. SOLUTION: A PID/CC rewrite control section 107 rewrites the value of a PID/continuity counter included in a TS packet when a DMA transfer, where a TS packet is read from a data buffer section 102 and written directly to a transmission buffer section 105. In this case, since the number of times of data read from and write of data to a memory is less than the case when accessing is made to the transmission buffer section 105 or the like for rewriting data, a time required for rewrite processing can be shortened.</p> |
