<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operation efficiency (speed) of machine translation with use of the statistical data information by providing a primary part-of- speech position decision device, an additional part-of-speech generation device, a post-processing device which converts the phrase structure of Chinese into a Chinese sentence by means of a lining technique, etc. SOLUTION: A primary part-of-speech position decision device 20 retrieves the relative information from a statistical information storage device 25 by using the argument of each lower part structure and generates a phrase structure of Chinese. An additional item generation device 30 retrieves a case marker, a Japanese maker and a semantic code of each leaf node as the search keys based on the Chinese phrase structure of a buffer device 60 and then retrieves both corresponding phrase primary and end part markers according to an additional part-of-speech information storage 35. The device 30 also generates a Chinese preposition structure. Then, a post-processing device 40 judges that the relevant sentence pattern is 'pa' ('ba') sentence and processes this sentence.</p> |
