PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor superior in slidability and durable against abrasion of the surface due to sliding friction by coating a photoconductive layer with a coating fluid prepared by dispersing fine conductive metal oxide particles surface-treated with a specified aluminum type coupling agent, and hardening to form a protective layer. SOLUTION: The protective layer is formed by coating the photo-conductive layer with the coating fluid prepared by dispersing the fine conductive metal oxide particles surface-treated with the aluminum type coupling agent represented by the formula and hardening it. In the formula, each of R1-R3 is an H or halogen atom or an optionally substituted aralkyl or such alkenyl group or the like, and at least one of them represents a -R4(CF2)nCF3 group; R4 is an optionally substituted alkyl or such aralkyl or such aromatic group; and (n) is an integer of 0-10.
