PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily confirm a meter-reading value by displaying the meter-reading value of a microcomputer meter on the display part of a telephone system with display part corresponding to the input of information for generating a request signal from the telephone system with display part connected to a microcomputer meter-reading device. SOLUTION: Concerning this microcomputer meter-reading system, a key telephone set 3 is connected to a connecting terminal 40 of a microcomputer meter-reading device 4 connected to a microcomputer meter 1 and public line 2 and when the information for generating the meter-reading value request signal is inputted from the key telephone set 3, the meter-reading request signal is transmitted to the microcomputer meter 1. Then, the meter-reading value is received from the microcomputer meter 1 and this meter-reading value is transmitted through the microcomputer meter-reading device 4 to the telephone system 3 with display part and displayed on an LCD display part 18 of the telephone system 3 with display part.
