RAPID-START FLUORESCENT LAMP AND MANUFACTURE OF SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid-start fluorescent lamp that can reduce time-basis changes in the resistance of its transparent conductive film and thus suppress black spots occurring on its bulb. SOLUTION: A rapid-start fluorescent lamp 1 has a transparent conductive film 3, a protective film 4 and a phosphor film 5 in outer-to-inner order on the inner surface of a bulb 2 of soda glass. The bulb 2 has a base 6 at each end. The transparent conductive film 3 consists of a tin oxide base and an antimony oxide additive with a 2.1-4 mol% amount of antimony to tin.
