PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of chattering noises caused by a rotational preventive pin of a shift lever. SOLUTION: A shift lever 1 has an engagement portion 3 engaged with a shift fork, and a spherical portion 4 at an intermediate position. The shift lever 1 is oscillatably surrounded and supported by a holder 5 in which the spherical portion 4 is fixed to a transmission case 2. A pair of rotation preventive pins 12, 13 are projected from a side portion of the holder 5, linearly in line in an opposed manner to each other. The pins 12, 13 are engaged with a groove 8 on an outer peripheral surface of the spherical portion 4, extended in an oscillation direction. The shift lever 1 can thus be oscillated in the extending direction of the groove 8 in respect to the holder 5 of the spherical portion 4, and around an axis 7 which is prepared by connecting to the pins 12 to 13. Elastic shock absorbing members 15 a little larger than the outer diameters of tip parts 11 is arranged on end faces 14 of the tip parts 11 of the pins 12, 13 engaged with the groove 8, for preventing chattering noises.
