Detection of deflation of tyres while vehicle is in motion using difference in distance travelled by each wheel

The vehicle tyre deflation is determined by a computer (1) responding to sensors (2) that measure the difference in the distance travelled by each wheel, and activates an alarm if a difference is detected. Supplementary detectors sense acceleration (5), deceleration (6), direction (7) and vibration (8) and this is used by the computer to correct the computation.
