The handling frame has a flexible belt (2) with horizontal reinforcing bars (3-8) and traction straps (14) connected to a motor (9) drive shaft to move the belt between open and closed positions. Each traction strap is connected opposite the motor shaft to a horizontal reinforcing bar at the bottom of the belt by a fixing which allows spacing of the traction point from the horizontal bar.
