PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the stressed state of a patient can be analyzed synthetically by recognizing the stress felt by the patient from both pleasantness and unpleasantness and measuring and grasping the pleasantness and unpleasantness by fixing a precise index and, at the same time, digitizing the degree or extent of the stress. SOLUTION: A pleasant/unpleasant stressed state discriminating table is prepared by plotting the items of index substances related to the pleasant and unpleasant stresses felt by human beings and contained in the blood, urine, or sputum of the human beings on the axis of ordinate or abscissa and the numerical values indicating the degrees of excess and deficiency of the index substances of a patient on the axis of abscissa or ordinate. At the time of preparing the table, the numerical values indicating the degrees of excess and deficiency of the index substances are obtained by converting the measured values of the index substances into the numerical values by comparing the measured values with the standard values of the substances. Then the pleasant/ unpleasant stressed state of the patient is analyzed based on the range in which the converted numerical value indicating the excess and deficiency of each index substance exists.
