PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display unevenness due to a warp of a COB(chip-on board) substrate from occurring in a liquid crystal display panel without interposing a spacer between the COB substrate and a light transmission plate. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device contains the COB substrate 3 that a liquid crystal driving electronic parts is mounted directly on one side surface, a side light type backlight unit and the liquid crystal display panel 1, and is constituted so that the light transmission plate 20 of the backlight unit is arranged on the other side surface side of the COB substrate 3, and the liquid crystal display panel 1 is arranged on the light transmission plate 20, and these respective members are overlapped integrally in a casing 5. In such a case, the parts becoming ribs 24a-24c abutted on the peripheral part of the COB substrate 3 remains on the surface side opposite to the COB substrate 3 of the light transmission plate 20, and a recessed part 23 is formed. |
