PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibly image-forming device which cannot only prevent overcurrent but also can secure the safety of an operator, when a door is opened and closed. SOLUTION: Power supply paths from a DC power supply 134 to a main motor driver 133 and a polygon motor driver 131, which respectively control a main motor 132 and a polygon motor 106 are provided, with current fuses 143m 139 respectively. Supply of power to the main motor driver 133 is controlled by means of a door switch 135, which is linked to the opening and closing of a door 136 for gaining access to the inside of a case of the equipment. When the door 36 is closed, the door switch 135 is closed and a sensor 151 is started before the supply of power to the main motor driver 133 is started and the power supply path for the polygon motor driver 131 is switched to one, so as not to go through via the current fuse 139 by means of switching elements 154, 155, based on the timing produced by a timing control circuit 152. |
