PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mass production efficiency of coating of a carbonate layer with screen printing by aligning plural suspension type oxide negative electrodes with a constant space, and supporting a sleeve bottom surface so as to align the top surfaces of the carbonate layer to be formed with a carbonate layer at the same height. SOLUTION: A suspension type oxide negative electrode 1 is formed by suspending a sleeve provided with a substrate metal in an upper end thereof in the inner surface of a cylindrical eyelet through a ribbon. An eyelet side support part 12 is provided with a cutting hole formed by drilling an aluminum alloy plate having a thickness dimension a little smaller than the height of the suspension type oxide negative electrode 1, and the eyelet is held by the cutting hole at the outer diameter thereof so that plural suspension type oxide negative electrodes 1 are aligned with a constant space. A sleeve bottom surface support part 9 fixed to the ground sill 10 abuts on a lower end of the sleeve of the suspension type negative electrodes 1, and aligns the top surface of the substrate metal at the same height. Carbonate paste 16 is coated on the top surface of the substrate metal through a screen 15 by a squeegee.
