PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing cold air leakage in a vehicle, which ensures a sufficient effect of preventing cold air outflow, and offers good workability. SOLUTION: A device comprises a curtain 15 made of curtain stuff having no gas permeability, for covering the entire width of a door opening of a refrigerating compartment which serves as a cargo compartment. The curtain 15 is of a draw-up type which is hung down and can be vertically drawn up from a lower level to an upper level. The curtain 15 can be adjusted continuously in its height and held. Specifically, the curtain 15 is constantly imparted with a bias force imposed downward, which is substantially balanced by a draw-up force derived from a weight 35, and held so that vertical positional adjustment can be performed freely. The curtain 15 is provided with a guiding mechanism 18 for vertically guiding the curtain and a roll-up mechanism 22 for rolling up the curtain downward.
