PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a convenient ice catch which can be cooled conveniently by a refrigerator, or the like, and can be used at any place when it is wrapped in towel by adding water to a polymer absorber and cooling it to serve heat absorption. SOLUTION: A polymer absorber is added with water and cooled to constitute an ice catch useful for heat absorption. The ice catch exhibits cooling action when the water added to the polymer absorber is cooled. It can be cooled conveniently using a refrigerator, or the like, and it can be used at any place when it is entirely wrapped in towel. Furthermore, the water added to the polymer absorber can be prevented from flowing out. When the polymer absorber is utilized secondarily and added with water, a convenient ice catch can be obtained.
