PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct fluctuation in the detection value of a pressure sensor due to ambient temperature variation by providing means for updating the reference water level based on the detection results of a residual water detecting means. SOLUTION: A circulation pump 25 is operated and then a decision is made whether the residual water in a bathtub 50 exceeds a circulation adapter 35 or not. When a water flow switch 22 is not turned on, the circulation pump 25 is stopped hot water is supplied preliminarily. When the water flow switch 22 is turned on, a decision is made that the residual water exceeds the circulation adapter and the circulation pump 25 is stopped. Subsequently, current water level is determined by means of water level sensor 28 and a new water level is stored as a reference water level in a nonvolatile memory. According to the arrangement, fluctuation in the reference water level detected by the water level sensor due to ambient temperature variation can be corrected automatically.
