PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect scatter, disturbance, etc., of pixels, and to alter control conditions to obtain a satisfactory image, by fetching as image data a toner image with a basic pattern after transfer, and converting it into a digital value indicating a pixel shape. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with an image detector 8 between a transfer device 6 and a fixing unit 11. A basic pattern for image data detection is formed of a solid and net-dot patterns. The patterns are formed on recording paper by the processes of electrification, exposure, development, and transfer. The image data formed on the recording paper is measured by the image data detector 8 composed of a microscope-having CCD camera, etc. In an image data processing device 9, the data of each pixel is calculated into a digital value, and it is inputted to an image-forming-condition controller 10. A recording-paper pressing member 15 controls the pressing force according to a control signal from the image-forming-condition controller 10 determined by the degree of pixel disturbance, a charge amount of toner, etc. |
