PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify and change a transmitter and to improve convenience for use. SOLUTION: A life monitor system records and manages the information of electric products 1 arranged at home through a centralized managing means 2 and by transmitting that information through a telephone line 2 to a monitor means 3 outside home, life conditions are monitored. In this case, the monitor means 3 or centralized managing means 2 is provided with a number receiving means 24 for receiving a transmitter telephone number reported from the exchange side of the telephone line 5 at the time of call incoming and a storage means 25 for storing the telephone number of the specified transmitter and the transmitter telephone number received by the number receiving means 24 is compared with the telephone number of the specified transmitter stored in the storage means 25 so that the specified transmitter can be identified. When both the numbers are coincident, the telephone line 5 is automatically connected to the monitor means 3 or centralized managing means 2.
