PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight radiation concentration measuring device in which space is saved and manufacturing cost and work cost are reduced by reducing the amount of a shield in the radiation concentration measuring device. SOLUTION: A radiation concentration measuring device is characteristically formed of a plastic scintillator plate 20 in a shape matched to the surface shape of a cylindrical pipe 2 containing a process fluid 1 of a body to be inspected, a shield 21 in the same block construction as that of the plastic scintillator plate 20 to cover the plastic scintillator plate 20 to shield radiation except from the body to be inspected, light-shielding felt 22 of a light-shielding body applied at the junction of the shield 21, a radiation detector 18 formed of a wavelength-conversion optical fiber cable 11 optically connected to the plastic scintillator plate 20 and derived to the outside of the shield 21, and a signal converter 19 connected to the radiation detector 18 to extract a measurement signal from a scintillation optical signal in the plastic scintillator plate 20.
