COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the objective color balance of silver halide color photographic paper in rapid color development. SOLUTION: The color photographic image forming method includes a step for bringing an imagewise exposed silver halide color photographic element into contact with a color developing composition containing a color developing agent and at least 0.05 mmol/l selectively diffusible color developing photographic reagent for at most 25 sec. The photographic element contains a substrate with a blue sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer, a green sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer and a red sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer on the surface. The selectively diffusible color developing photographic reagent has such diffusible property that it diffuses mainly only in the outermost silver halide emulsion layer in the contact step.
