MANUFACTURE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method for a plasma display panel which is excellent in an image display performance by excellently glueing a top parts of barrier ribs to a glass plate opposed thereto and avoiding deformation such as expansion. SOLUTION: Top parts of barrier ribs 206 are flattened by polishing and an adhesive member is coated on them. The coated adhesive is dried by heating, and the adhesive component is polished and flattened. A phosphor ink is coated in spaces between barrier ribs 205 by means of a nozzle. A back surface plate 201 and a front plate 101 are positioned opposing to each other, and both of the plates 201, 101 are fused and adhered, and the phosphor ink is baked so as to form a phosphor layer 207, and a plasma display panel(PDP) is completed.
