PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate the preparation of a positioning confirmation system where the number of scanning lines are twice as large of that of a normal TV system by driving plural imaging devices to permit the optical center of gravity in each line of an image pickup signal to be mutually deviated by means of a half of one pixel pitch between two imaging devices and obtaining a signal after mutually subtracting the respective obtained signals. SOLUTION: A pulse for driving CCD is outputted from a pulse creating circuit 15 by way of a CCD imaging device driving circuit 16. An output signal from the CCD imaging device is respectively amplified by preamplifiers 17 and 18 to a prescribed level and, then, converted into digital image data by A/D converters 19 and 20. Then the output signals of signal processing circuits 21 and 22 are inputted to a subtracter 23 and difference data are calculated at every pixel. Output data of the subtracter 23 is converted into analog signals by a D/A converter 24 and used for judging the positioning of the CCD imaging devices.
