PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the deformation of both side walls of a cleaning frame body by providing a reinforcing member between the side wall on either side and the side wall on the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning frame body on an opposite side to a side where an exposure aperture is formed. SOLUTION: The frame body of a cleaning means is composed of the main body 13q of the cleaning frame body and a cover. Then, a cleaning unit is constituted by integrally assembling a photoreceptor drum, a cleaning blade, a scoop sheet and an electrifying roller functioning as an electrifying means in one main body 13q. In such constitution, a rib extended all over the area in a longitudinal direction is provided as the reinforcing member of the cleaning frame body inside the main body 13q. It is conceivable to fix a sheet metal 159 on both ends 13s inside the main body 13q through small screws 159a and the like by using the sheet metal 159 instead of the rib. Thus, the cleaning frame body which is hardly thermally deformed and the process cartridge equipped with the cleaning frame body are obtained.
