PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely carry a headphone device so as to protect electroacoustic transducers. SOLUTION: The device is provided with head band members 3, 4 connected with each other through a pivotally supported part 7 so that the sides of one end part of each member are approachable to and separable from each other and electroacoustic transducer supporting arms 5, 6 which are fixed with the electroacoustic transducers 17, 18 at one end side of each and rotatably connected to one end side of the members 3 and 4 through pivotally supporting parts 26, 27 with rotation center axes in a direction nearly orthogonal with the rotation center axis of the part 7. At the time of folding the arms 5, 6 to the side of the members 3, 4 with the parts 27, 27 as a center and folding the members 3, 4 in the direction where the sides of one end part are close to each other with the part 7 as a center, the transducers 17, 18 are housed in an area surrounded by the arms 5, 6 and the members 3, 4.
