PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a building of a mounting part of a magnetic head without thickening a resin part of the base and a higher rigidity of the mounting part of the magnetic head. SOLUTION: In a magnetic head device which is provided with a sliding part which has a magnetic head build therein to slide on a disc, arm parts 3 and 4 mounted on the sliding part 5, a base part 6 mounted on the arm parts 3 and 4 and a fixed plate 7 mounted on the base part 6, the material of the arm parts 3 and 4 and the fixed plate 7 is the same elastic metal. The material of the sliding part 5 and the base part 6 is the same resin.
