摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve prolonged preservability of image information by solving a problem of a damage to data as caused by a flaw generated in a rotary disc. SOLUTION: In an image recorder wherein a plurality of tracks are formed on the surface of a magnetooptical disc 15 along the circumference thereof to record image information at an arbitrary sector in the tracks, the same image data identical to the original image data is recorded in duplication on the magnetooptical disc 15 while a sector is selected on a track differing from the recording sector A and with the circumferential phase difference thereof shifted by 180 deg. from the recording sector A as a recording sector A' of the same image data with respect to the recording sector A of the original image data.
