PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply execute the prognostic diagnosis of a bladder cancer patient by a method, wherein a soluble Fas concentration in blood or serum which is collected from the bladder cancer patient is measured. SOLUTION: A soluble Fas concentration in blood or serum, which is collected from a bladder cancer patient, is measured. When the measured concentration is collected with a specific decision reference value, the possibility of whether or not diagnosis is good can be decided simply is high. Then, on the basis of a diagnosed result, an optimum treatment plan after than can be established. Whether there is a possibility that the prognosis of the bladder cancer patient becomes defective or not can be decided simply on the basis of the blood or the serum which is collected from the bladder cancer patient, and a proper treatment according to it can be executed to the patient. For example, an enzyme immunoassay or the like, such as ELISA or the like, is performed by using an anti-Fas antibody, the soluble Fas concentration in the blood or the serum which is collected from the bladder cancer patient is measured, and whether or not the prognosis of the bladder cancer patient is good can be decided according to its measured result.
