<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the diameter of a protective material, in a state in which a wiring harness is wrapped in the protective material, of a prescribed dimension. SOLUTION: When a wiring harness is inserted through a panel through-hole or a narrow wiring part, the wiring harness is wrapped in a wiring harness insertion work protective material and inserted, and after the wiring harness is inserted, the protective material is removed. The wiring harness insertion work protective material consists of a pair of semicircular parts 11 and 12, whose one side edges are connected to each other with a thin hinge part (13) and whose other side edges are separated openably from each other. Locking nails 15 are made to protrude from the edge of one of the facing semicircular parts, but a plurality of locking nail receivers 16 and 17 with which the locking nails 15 are retained detachably are formed on the other semicircular part with intervals in the circumferential direction. The wiring harness is wrapped in the pair of semicircular parts 11 and 12, and the locking nails 15 are retained by the locking nail receivers 16 or 17, which are selected corresponding to the outside diameter of the wiring harness.</p> |
