PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily support a different communication form by transmitting instruction information of the stored command list of devices to be operated to an operation device. SOLUTION: When a client computer 101 has input a command for operating a printer 103, the client computer 101 gives the request of the command list of the printer 103 or software to a server computer 105 by an electronic mail. When the command list or software has been received from the server computer 105, an operation on the printer 103 is realized. When the operation instruction of the printer 103 is inputted from a user, the instruction is generated, based on the command list supplied from the server computer 105, and the instruction is transmitted to the server computer 105. A processing result by the printer 103 is received from the server computer 105 and the operation on the printer 103 is terminated.
