SOLUTION: A metallic header 2, an insulation member and two leads 1 are positioned and fixed. Next, the end part of a lead 1 is crushed to be flat with a press, etc., to form a fixing part 8. Then, a notch 9 is provided in the longitudinal direction of the lead 1 in the center of a flat fixing part 8. In such a case, the notch 9 is formed by a cutter, laser beams, etc. And, the flat parts divided into two by the notch 9 are formed into a V shape, a Y shape or a U shape. In such a case, it is preferable that the two leads 1 are alternately and also flatly formed by a press with the center of the leads 1 as reference at the same time. Each process is performed with an airtight terminal fixed to a jig. And, the end part of a rectangular crystal resonator is fixed by being held between the fixing part 8 formed in the V shape.
