Ready mixed dry concrete, especially for producing single or double wall chimney flue pipes, comprises alkali-resistant glass fibers, pozzuolanic aggregate and alumina cement

A ready mixed dry concrete, comprises alkali-resistant glass fibers added to pozzuolanic aggregate and alumina cement. A novel ready mixed dry concrete contains, in addition to pozzuolanic aggregate and alumina cement, 0.125-4 wt.% alkali-resistant glass fibers of 12-20 mu m diameter and 12-50 mm length. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) bulk concrete slurry obtained by 10-20 vol.% water addition to the above concrete; (ii) a structure or constructional element produced from the above concrete slurry; (iii) a flue pipe produced from the above concrete; and (iv) production of chimney flue pipes from the above concrete slurry.
