PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the manufacture cost by simplifying the manufacturing process of the scale and to make it easy to clean the draft shield itself and a guide member fitted to the draft shield. SOLUTION: The draft shield 2 for the scale has a base part which is fitted detachably to the housing 1 of the scale by a lock device. At least one of side wall panels 4 of the draft shield 2 is fitted slidably in a guide slot from a closure position to an opening position and has a handle 3 projects out of the draft shield 2 slightly obliquely from the perpendicular.
