PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make excellently detectable the existence of a stain or a blur on a printing paper surface due to an ink of a specified color, to make correctly sortable printing paper to good one or bad one and to make improvable the printing quality of a product which is judged to be good one. SOLUTION: The printing paper surface inspecting device is provided with a light emitting part 2 projecting a light on the printing paper surface 1, a first light receiving part 3A directly receiving a reflection light from the printing paper surface including color information without a filter, a second light receiving part 3B receiving the light through the filter (blue filter 8) by which only a specified color (yellow) in the reflection light from the printing paper surface 1 including color information passes through and first and second image comparators 7A and 7B respectively calculating image data obtained from the first and the second light receiving parts 3A and 3B and reference image data. Then, the existence of defective printing on the printing paper surface 1 is judged based on output signals which are respectively obtained from the first and the second image comparators 7A and 7B. |
