PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high performance by stably generating a tornado flow regardless of installation position of an apparatus in an air suction/air diffusion apparatus utilizing the tornado flow. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with an air suction inlet 5, and an air diffusion outlet 9 surrounding the air suction inlet 5 in a same plane. Air sucked through the air suction inlet 5 is diffused through the air diffusion outlet 9 as a swirling flow A1, and simultaneously a tornado flow A2 directed toward the air suction inlet 5 is produced inside of it. In this case, in a position separated apart from the air diffusion outlet 9 toward an outer periphery thereof by a specified distance in a plan view a wall member 15 forming a specified corner section 42 between a diffusion side face of the panel member 4 provided with the air diffusion outlet 9 and itself is provided. By such a constitution, a swirl A1 is generated in the corner section 42 and the swirling flow A1 is guided by the swirl and diffused into a free space, so that conversion of dynamic pressure of the swirling flow A1 to static pressure is accelerated. A stable static pressure zone surrounding the tornado flow A2 is formed in a vicinity of the air diffusion outlet 9, a high suction force of the tornado flow A1 is stably obtained, and a high air suction/air diffusion performance can be demonstrated. |
