PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a heat exchanger without deteriorating the heat exchanging efficiency of the same and prevent the splash of condensed water by a method wherein heat radiating fins are divided into heat exchanging air inlet side fins and heat exchanging air outlet side fins while the arranging pitch of the inlet side fins is set so as to be smaller than that of the outlet side fins. SOLUTION: Heat radiating fins 5 are constituted while dividing them into heat exchanging air inlet side fins 5A and heat exchanging air outlet side fins 5B while a necessary gap C, having the degree of a size capable of precluding the movement of condensed water, condensed on the inlet side fins 5A, to the outlet side fins 5B, is formed between the inlet side fins 5A and the outlet side fins 5B. Further, the arranging pitch P1 of the inlet side fins 5A is set so as to be smaller than the arranging pitch P2 of the outlet side fins 5B. According to this method, the movement of the condensed water, condensed on the inlet side fins 5A, to the outlet side fins 5B is precluded whereby the splash of water, generated by the condensed water on the terminal end rims of the outlet fins 5B by blowing air, can be reduced and a heat exchanger can be miniaturized without deteriorating the heat exchanging rate of the heat exchanger.
