PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form separated refrigerant circulating paths and make independent unit operation possible, respectively. SOLUTION: A low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas stored in an accumulator 1 is sucked into a suction hole through a suction pipe 4 and is led into a compression chamber where the refrigerant gas is compressed by a rolling piston 6 to be converted into a high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas. The refrigerant gas thus converted is sent out of a compressor through an outlet pipe 9 and circulates into an accumulator 11 through a heat exchanger A, an expansion valve 12 and a heat exchanger B to form a first refrigerant circulating path. A low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas stored in the accumulator 11 is sucked into a suction hole through a suction pipe 41 and is led into the compression chamber where the refrigerant gas is compressed by a rolling piston 61 to be converted into a high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas. The refrigerant gas thus converted is sent out of the compressor through an outlet pipe 10 and circulates into the accumulator 1 through a heat exchanger C, an expansion valve 13 and a heat exchanger D to form a second refrigerant circulating path.
